This story about a family of duck. whih is in their family there is one different duck, the different one is very ugly. so the ugly duck is not comfortable live with them and sometime he got offended from others. So finally, born as a ugly, the duck have to go and got some journey to find the identity. after that he got identity when the duck growth be a swan. so the conclusion is actually the ugly duckling is not a duck but a swan. and the ugly duck felt comfortable and he can accept in his community with swans.
This story is the same with story in indonesia " Itik Buruk Rupa". actually this short story is very relate with the author biography. The author is a guy so the relation is he will felt comfortable if he with their community. the duck is ugly in duck community but beautiful in swans, because it is the real.
